On Saturday, August 4, LINKBYNET INDIAN OCEAN welcomed the young beneficiaries of the SAFIRE Association. These children from Bambous and Camp Levieux regions were introduced to IT, in particular, the assembly of a computer with fun games and were rewarded with an IT initiation certification.
Thanks to some volunteers and the LIO CSR Team this day was a success in terms of exchange and learning. These volunteers who agreed to come on a Saturday in order to accompany and supervise the children end their day with their heads full of experience and their hearts full of emotion.
Kevin Gooljar one of our volunteers and trainer says: « It was a real pleasure to be part of this project. Seeing how motivated the children were and how quickly they were able to learn was very fulfilling, for my team & me. At the end of the day, we would see that they were able to discover jobs and possible career path in IT beyond the traditional professional path. I hope that we were able to inspire them”
The Safire association also gave us a very good feedback: " Yesterday learning day at Linkbynet Indian Ocean office with the staff members, our beneficiaries from Bamboos and Camp Levieux participated in fun games, learned how to assemble a computer and finally received a certificate of participation. We would like to thank the entire Linkbynet team for their hospitality and the pedagogy with the children. »
We ended this day with games (musical chair, limbo, etc.) and music with our Aspiring Geeks.
The CSR Team hopes to have been able to initiate a certain interest in the IT profession to these children and who knows maybe in a few years we will see one of these children become one of our Linkies.
