LINKBYNET, finalist of the “Trophées Caractères”

LINKBYNET is the finalist of the "4e Trophées Caractères" (4th Character Trophies) which gives reward for solidarity actions at work. For this, we present our awareness raising activities for Action against Hunger.

Our partnership

LINKBYNET and Action against Hunger are partners since the launch of the micro-donation from salary at LINKBYNET in March 2014. Since this launch, more than 10 000€ was donated to Action against Hunger, thanks to the donation of around 40 collaborators. It’s important for us to build a give-take relationship with Action against Hunger, so we have realized several operations together :

  • Visit to Action against Hunger via our French sites to watch the 360° movie "Visit of a mission at Bangui"
  • Collection of meals voucher
  • Consultation of LINKBYNET as part of a study on company sponsorship of Action against Hunger.

Then, we asked Action against Hunger to propose skill patronage missions to us, to get involved, to aware our collaborators but also to do our part.

Skill patronage

LINKBYNET decided to give our collaborators the possibility to use several hours of their work time for Action against Hunger. Following a call to volunteer, 8 collaborators were voluntaries to represent Action against Hunger by raising the pupils awareness about hunger, as part of Run Against Hunger.

Cathy from Action against Hunger came to Linkbynet a morning to train our collaborators to become able to:

  • Explain the scourge of hunger
  • Present Haiti: project was sponsored with the donations of this operation,
  • Understand the solution to reduce hunger,
  • Explain the principle of Run Against Hunger
  • Speak before a pupils group.

The collaborators realized 20 sensitization sessions in 12 schools in the Ile-de-France region: from elementary until high school, between March and April 2016

Sensitization sessions have been a success and an enriching experience: an untypical public, a lot of interest and participation and a comeback few years back in the classrooms. It was rich with a lot of exchange with the pupils, with the youngest who are innocent, and the oldest who are already mature on the subject.

LINKBYNET Collaborators have contributed to the participation of more than 200 pupils, and collected almost 10 000€

Public price

Waiting for the jury deliberation, at the end of January, it’s still possible to vote for the public prize until the 10th of January. We invite you to like and share our video and to spread the news about us
